Plannen Gesmeed Van Start Tot Meet
Plannen, plannen, plannen. Leuk om te maken, maar momenteel niet echt een garantie voor wat dan ook. We krijgen net een mailtje van een contact uit Extremadura in Spanje, waar we sowieso langs willen om de Iberico-varkentjes te zien dartelen, dat alles daar is afgesloten en men niet eens het dorp uit mag. Mhhh, dat belooft niet veel goeds... Grenzen dicht, hotels dicht. Grappig is wel dat de campings die we contacten gewoon open zijn. Zouden de campings dan de nieuwe piratennesten van de toekomst zijn? Dat zou voor in ieder geval één van de ondergetekenden overigens wel een drempeltje zijn om over heen te stappen. Maar dat is een verhaal voor een volgend blog! Hoe dan ook; wij gaan, en desnoods gaan we helemaal in het zwart gekleed 's nachts reizend om de controleposten en wegblokkades te ontlopen. 00Sabbaticouple. Klinkt goed! Zeker nu James Bond z'n langste tijd gehad lijkt te hebben.
Nog 43 Nachtjes, Dus Geen Stress
Nope, geen stress. Wij stappen in de bus, en beginnen aan de klus. Links om of rechts om. De totaal onnavolgbare beperkingen die ons worden opgelegd zijn volledig losgeslagen, en compleet vrij van welke Europese coherentie dan ook, dus het kan zijn dat wij hier straks een avondklok hebben en er vanaf België overal happy-hour geldt. We zullen het zien. Wij hebben ons pad bepaald. 43 nachtjes 2Go. Dat mag. 2Go.

Plans Are Made.
Plans, plans, plans. Great to make, but nowadays making plans is no garanty at all. We just received an email from Extremadura in Spain, where we plan to go to to see the Iberico-pigs run free as far as the eye can see, that they're not even allowed to leave their village. That doens't sound to promising... Closed borders and closed hotels. It's funny to see that while almost everything is closed, the campingspots we contacted all seem to be open! Are campingsites the new pirate-nests? We need some time to get that picture planted in our minds... But that's a different story. Maybe we should start our trip all dressed in black and travelling by night to dodge the roadblocks. 00Sabbaticouple. Sounds good! Especially now it seems James Bond isn't gonna make it. We will though!
43 Nights Before We Go, So No Stress
Nope, no need for stress. We start our van, and we're off. Whatever happens. The Covid-regulations are so unclear and devastating it's possible that we're facing a curfew in Holland while Belgium and the rest of Europe opens up their borders for happy-hour... Well, we'll see what happens. Our path is set. 43 nights before we go. Let's make that 2Go. That's seems to be ok...
